NJAA Member, Michael Beirne, Named President of Drexel Property Management Industry Advisory Board

New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA) member, Michael Beirne, was recently elected President of the Drexel Property Management Industry Advisory Board. Beirne is the Executive Vice President of The Kamson Corporation in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. NJAA President, Jeff Smith, and Executive Director, Jean Maddalon, were also elected to the board.
The Advisory Board was created to prepare students to meet the 21st century challenges of managing residential and commercial investment real estate assets. Drexel University is the only school in the United States that provides both residential and commercial property management programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
“By creating this board, industry leaders are playing a major role in shaping the future of our industry,” said Mr. Smith. “We look forward to working with students to help them prepare for the ever-changing landscape of property management.”
“The Property Management Advisory Board gathers some of the most accomplished industry professionals in the region,” said William F. Lynch, dean of Goodwin College of Professional Studies. “Their input will be instrumental to the continuing development and success of the Property Management program.”
