Are You Ready for New Jersey's New Lead Laws?
New Jersey is ramping up the State’s requirements on lead paint and placing additional mandates on landlords who own pre-1978 buildings.
New legislation will require all rental housing in New Jersey to be free of lead-based paint hazards and will require new inspections of certain apartments. This class is a “must attend” seminar for anyone that owns, manages, or maintains rental housing constructed prior to 1978.
The seminar will provide attendees with an overview of the new “lead-safe” inspection law, a review of the complex regulatory framework for management of lead-based paint, as well as strategies for managing compliance, reducing costs, and mitigating risk.
Please Note: Pre-registration is required to attend all virtual classes offered by NJAA. Prior to the start of NJAA virtual classes, enrolled attendees will receive an email containing their unique Zoom Attendee Link. Please note that the Zoom Attendee Link is unique to you and can ONLY be used by the registered attendee. If you do not pre-register with NJAA, you will be billed for attending the virtual class and will be charged a late fee.
