Keep Calm and Save Your Job (and Your Residents Too)

We all have days where we feel like punching someone in the nose because they are being unreasonable, unruly, and maybe even downright rude. This is where having the right coping skills and communication techniques really can save you aggravation, stress, your job, and your residents too. Learn what to do when faced with difficult people to remain calm.

• Learn how to say “No” while maintaining a smile.
• Identify different personality styles.
• Build your vocabulary with power words.
• Avoid common communication mistakes.
• Practice key steps to resolving conflicts.
• Better manage your time.

Please Note: Pre-registration is required to attend all virtual classes offered by NJAA. Prior to the start of NJAA virtual classes, enrolled attendees will receive an email containing their unique Zoom Attendee Link. Please note that the Zoom Attendee Link is unique to you and can  ONLY be used by the registered attendee. If you do not pre-register with NJAA, you will be billed for attending the virtual class and will be charged a late fee. NJAA is happy to accommodate swaps at any time prior to the start of the class.
