Understanding Criminal Background Screening Under New Jersey's Fair Chance in Housing Act

Over one year ago, New Jersey enacted the “Fair Chance in Housing Act,” regulating how criminal history can be used in the resident selection process. This class will review the Fair Chance in Housing Act, offer practical suggestions for compliance, and provide training necessary for staff at all levels involved in the leasing, resident selection and property management to make sure that you get in compliance with this new and evolving area of law. 
 
Join us for this NEW informational seminar, which is the third class in our series, which will build upon the knowledge you gained in our previous seminars, or if you missed our previous seminars, get up to speed on everything you need to know to comply with this complex and complicated law. 
 
Our goal at NJAA is to help you better understand the evolving legal landscape surrounding this law, answer your questions and avoid costly penalties.
