Certified Apartment Leasing Professional

In 2021, the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) credential changed its name to the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) credential. The newly named CALP credential will continue to ensure that leasing professionals throughout the industry are fully prepared for success.

Formerly known as the NALP, the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) is often the first credential earned in a career in residential property management, and assists leasing agents with integrating successful sales techniques, increasing resident retention, and meeting resident needs. This year, NJAA has partnered with a highly sought after National Instructor, Rebecca Rosario, to instruct the CALP training virtually!

This new virtual setting will consist of an orientation so that all students understand how the virtual environment will function, 4 half days of training, and a course refresher to ensure that all students are prepared for their exam.

In this new live instructor-led format, students will have the ability to engage with the instructor during class and collaborate with their classmates inside and outside of the virtual classroom. Combined with virtual activities and group homework outside of class, this exclusive training will give attendees real-world scenarios along with a thorough review of all aspects of the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional position.
