When the U.S. Supreme Court invalidated the CDC’s authority to extend the federal eviction moratorium, a number of media outlets reached out to our Executive Director, David Brogan, for comment.

Though the Court’s unsurprising decision has a  minimal impact in New Jersey, Mr. Brogan highlighted how New Jersey has a path back to normalcy. However, it is imperative that government do everything possible to help those impacted. The slow pace at which emergency rental assistance is being disbursed puts further strain on both landlords and tenants.
