NJAA Conference & Expo (CANCELLED)

After long discussions with our partner organizations in Atlantic City regarding mandates by the Governor to close for an indefinite period of time due to COVID-19, NJAA’s Executive Board of Directors and leadership has made the extremely tough decision to cancel this year’s event.

We know that this event is something our members look forward to each and every year; however, the decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety and wellbeing of our members.

Ultimately, NJAA is a membership organization that is committed to ensuring that our members are not unduly burdened during this turbulent time. As such, NJAA will provide our exhibitors with their choice of either applying this year’s payment to the 2021 Conference & Expo or exhibitors can opt to receive a full refund. As an incentive, those that choose to defer their booth payment and sponsorships to the following year, will not receive any price increases in 2021. NJAA will keep the costs flat for those who wish to apply their 2020 payment to 2021. Additionally, all attendee and vendor registrations will be handled in the same manner.

The members of our events team will be in contact with all exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees over the course of the next few weeks to discuss the options and provide credits or refunds. We ask for your patience as our staff handles the outreach to the membership in a thoughtful and systematic way.

Those who have booked a room with NJAA’s Hotel Room Block at the Water Club at the Borgata will receive an email confirmation that your room has been canceled. You should receive that email no later than Monday, March 23, 2020. If you do not receive that information, please contact the Borgata Hotel Reservation line at (609) 317-1000 and select option #1. For those who have booked rooms outside of the NJAA room block or through a travel agent, please cancel your rooms as not to incur any fees or charges.

Again, we thank you for your patience during such unprecedented times and we stand ready to serve and assist our valued NJAA members in any way that we can. In return, we ask for your patience and the opportunity to allow the members of our staff the time to process the many requests they will be handling over the next few weeks.
